Cedrus is produced in Southwestern France in the commune of Vire-sur-Lot, a village with a long winemaking history. Mainly malbec and matured in large oak vats for nine months, this is an accessible Cahors made in a traditional style with the addition of 15 per cent merlot and five per cent tannat for an attractively juicy red of mulberry fruit freshness and juiciness and supple finish.
